We are committed to making hearing healthcare as accessible as possible. Our practice understands that you may not always be able to travel for your appointments. So to increase accessibility and to support hearing health, we provide in-home services. This allows us to bring our quality services and individualized care to you. Our in-home services include the following:

Hearing Evaluations
The hearing evaluation process is the first step towards treatment. Hearing tests are used to identify and diagnose hearing loss. There are a few types of tests including the most common, pure tone audiometry testing. This test involves wearing headphones while sounds are played at different pitches and frequencies. You will indicate what you are able to hear by raising your hand or pressing a button. This will identify the type of hearing loss and degree of impairment you are experiencing in each ear. Once your hearing needs are identified, treatment can be tailored to meet those needs.
Prescription Hearing Aid Fittings
In addition to assessing your hearing needs, we also provide in-home hearing aid fittings. This allows us to fit and program your hearing aids to address your specific hearing needs. We take the time to calibrate your hearing aids and test these settings to make sure that they effectively deliver sound that is comfortable for you. During a hearing aid fitting, you also learn everything about your new hearing aids. We will walk you through how to use, take care, and troubleshoot your hearing aids.

Hearing Aid Diagnostic and Repairs
If you experience any issues with your hearing aids, we are able to come and evaluate your device. Hearing aids are long lasting devices that are designed to be durable. But over time, they can be impacted by daily wear and tear so it is not uncommon to need repair work. If you notice any physical damage, experience feedback noises, your device powers off randomly, or you just notice that your hearing aids aren’t working as well; it is important to have them assessed which is where we come in. Our experts are able to thoroughly inspect your hearing aids to identify the underlying issue. We are also able to perform repair work to get your hearing aids to work optimally again.
Hearing Aid Accessories
There is a range of hearing aid accessories and supplies that support as well as enhance the performance of your hearing aids. We are able to discuss your options with you so that you can explore what is most helpful for you. This includes personal mics, TV accessories, domes and wax guards , phones etc.
